"Riley had heart problems and we knew he was turning for the worst. The nurses on the day before he passed on tried to tell me that I shouldn't go see Riley as it would be very hard on me, due to the fact that Riley was very much out of it and didn't recognize any one who came in the room. I wanted to see my boy, my buddy so I walked in the room and said 'hey, little buddy' at that moment I knew what true love was. Riley opened his eyes and looked at me, then he reached up and took my left hand with his fingers and smiled. I will never forget that, he passed away soon after that. One day, while making my rounds at work I walked into an office and found a picture of what had happened between Riley and myself and I knew that he needed to put that on his headstone. Riley is with God now."

"We will remember your little hand, until we hold it again."
Riley's Father, Edward Daniel Tynan Jr. "Lucky", was laid to rest in his same grave. They are now together for eternity.
