Luigi was a forest ranger who died in the collapse of his house, in Via Fortebraccio, with his wife, Giovanna Berardini, (Age 30), and his little son, Francesco, (Age 1), in the tragic earthquake of April 6, 2009, in L'Aquila. Luigi died at the age of 34.
