Hi, I am a Mozley researcher. I have additional information for Mattie Sevier., now that I have found her and her 1st husband, Charlie Mozley.
Mattie was Mattie P. Leary, daughter of Lemuel Leary and Margaret, of Hill Co., TX. This is what a relative wrote to me when I was searching for Mattie:
From History of Iverson Community:
"Matt Leary enrolled in Baylor Female College at Belton, probably the first person in Iverson to attend a private school. She had a small house built across from her mother where she lived with her two children:
Inez
Charlene
Morris Leary, a son of Frank Leary died recently in Seattle Washington at the age of 92. He remembered Aunt Mattie as being a "tough old woman". He wrote that Mattie was married three times. First, to Charlie Moseley (spelling ?); they had two daughters, Inez and Charlene (known as Tat). Mattie's second husband was uncle 'Dink' Phillips who "fell off a wagon and was killed". Her third husband was named Bud Sevier.
That's all that I have.

This is truly amazing that I have found her with her husband and some of her children. This search has been long. I thought that I had lost Charlie Mozley. Unfortunately, I am not in contact with any other of the desc. of Miles "Pike" Mozley and his wife, Mary Ann Smith of GA and AL. One of his elderly cousins told me that he had heard that his father, Miles, had beat Charlie and he left home when he was quite young, never to return and that none of the family knew where he was. It is really ironic that Charlie is buried in the same cemetery as his great aunt, Margaret Rebecca Aycock Mosley, wife of his great uncle, Samuel Bankston Mozley. And only miles away from another uncle, Isaiah Mozley.
Thank for your efforts, they are so great!

PS I did find a marriage for Charles and Mattie Leary on Familysearch.com. May 14, 1895 in Hill Co., TX. Mattie Leary next married Samuel Erasmus "Dink" Phillips December 12, 1901 in Hill Co., TX. Her third husband was Elias Huntsman "Bud" Sevier who she married February 25, 1920 in Hill Co., TX. So her names match to Monte LeVerne's obit.
