My Mother, my Friend, my Angel.

Peggy, as she was known her whole life, a woman proud of her Irish heritage was born on February 1, 1921 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio to Irish parents, Harry R. Eagens(1892-1964) and Anna M. Tague(1893-1980).

She was the third of 5 children born to her parents. Her siblings were: Eleanor Margaret (Filkins), Mary Josephine "Mae" (Beas), Henry H."Sonny" and a baby sister Joan Therese who died only a few short hours after her birth.

Peggy married Kenneth L. Brown(1917-2002) in Cleveland, Ohio on November 27, 1948. They raised five children together and had 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Peggy worked at many occupations: During WWII she worked at the Fisher Aircraft bomber plant in Brook Park, Ohio. Then after she married while raising her 5 children she also owned and operated a small grocery.

In 1998 She and her husband celebrated and renewed their vows on their 50th Weddding Anniversary with all of their family and friends attending a mass and celebration.

Peggy died on their 53rd wedding anniversary after a long illness with her family surrounding her. She is buried next to her husband Kenneth in Holy Cross Cemetery, 14609 Brookpark Road, Brook Park, Ohio 4142, (216) 267-2850.

"Your mother is always with you.
She is the whisper of the leaves as you walk down the street.
Your mother lives inside your laughter, she is crystallized in every tear drop.
She is the place you came from, your first home.
She is the map you follow with every step that you take.
She is your first love and your first heart break...
and nothing on earth can separate you.
Not time, not space...not even death...will ever separate you from your Mother."

Remember

I love you so, I miss you so, I need you still.
