Funeral services were held Tuesday in San Diego, California for Lloyd C McCrehin, 61, a former resident of Watertown South Dakota, who died May 3, in California.
The service was at St. Mary Magellan Church with burial in Holy Cross mausoleum. A rosary was conducted earlier in Claremont Mortuary.
Mr. McCrehin was born May 12, 1912 in Minnesota. He lived in Watertown and graduated from Lincoln Flying School in Lincoln Nebraska. , in 1940, joined the Navy in 1944 and was stationed at Alameda CA.
He was a member of Knights of Columbus and served on the S.D. Aeronautics Commission. He had lived in Sand Diego for the last five years.
Surviving are his wife, Ottilia Clausen McCrehin of San Diego, one son, Lloyd C McCrehin Jr., living in Missouri and three daughters, Patricia allen and Martha Buck, living in California, and Mary Jenkins of Watertown, two brothers, Loren McCrehin of Arizona and Ralph McCrehin living in Minnesota and six grandchildren.
