Nathan James died at the home of his brother, B. F. James, Friday morning [May 20] of general debility, after a lingering illness of several weeks, at the age of 71 years. The funeral took place from the M. E. Church, of which he was an official member, the pastor, Rev. White, officiating. Interment in the Bellbrook cemetery. Mr. James was an upright and useful man and enjoyed the confidence and esteem of his fellow citizens, and during his life held many offices of private and public trust.
