Daughter of William Homer and Alma Morgan Long. Sister of William, Carl, David, Roger (Darrell) and Charles Long. Wife of Donald E. Adams for 47 years. Mother of Karen Adams Knisley, Don Homer Adams, Kathleen Adams Skinner and Susan Adams Hanley. Grandmother to Beth Adams Maurer, Amy Adams, T. Ryan Skinner, Sarah E. Hanley, Rachel Nicole Hanley. Great-Greandmother to Hayley Maurer, Brooke Maurer and Gabriel Maurer.

Her favorite holiday was Christmas, which she always made the ultimate mystery game. Ah, the stories her children could tell! One of our favorites is that she would buy herself a gift, wrap it and put it in the back of the tree. After everything was opened, she'd spy that gift and wonder aloud who it was for and then make a big production that it was for her! She'd open it and scream that the gift was just what she wanted! Surprise!

She lived for her family - parents, husband, children, brothers, nieces and nephews. She was much loved by her brothers- and sisters-in-law. If she saw a child in need, she was there for them whenever she could. It may be something as simple as holding them in her lap, a hug, cookies, or simply a piece of fabric from her own stash for their 4-H project when she was a 4-H advisor.

She may not have been "famous", but she touched many people's lives throughout the community.
