Robbie was the daughter of Moody Wilbert Jennings and Ora Daisy Pryor.

She married our grandfather John Borowski in Los Angeles on December 1, 1937. As bookkeeper, she helped build John's business, Penny Roofing Company on Exposition Boulevard in Los Angeles, into a success.

Robbie's older sister Bessie Lee passed away at a young age, and shortly thereafter, Robbie was orphaned.

She was raised by her aunt Annie and her sister, Mildred K. Isaac, whom she was extremely close to. Never failing to visit relatives in Galveston every year, she was very proud of her Texas roots, and she was devoted to her family. Robbie liked country music and was known to enjoy a few cold Lucky Lagers.

My dad recalled that during World War II, Robbie never failed to read Ernie Pyle's newspaper column every day, and she was devastated when he died.

A sincere thank you to Reilly for so generously sponsoring Grandma Robbie's memorial.
