Dorothy Louise Henson Bledsoe McDurmon was my mother. She was also Mama to Mary Lynn Bledsoe Phillips and Nancy Gail McDurmon Bugg. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved her family with all her being.
She loved Christmas and was always like a child during the holiday. Her Christmas tree went up Thanksgiving night. The presents were always piled under the tree and no matter how tight money was for Mama, she always made sure her girls had a great holiday.
To the grandchildren, she was Nana. She was proud of each and every one. I love to hear them reminisce about Nana. We all miss her so much. Someday though we will all meet again.
