James Glenn Morris, 83, of Royal, born April 5, 1930, passed away on Oct. 28, 2013. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion and VFW.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ethel; brothers, A.G and Chesley Morris; and sister, Jean Parsons.

James is survived by children; two sons; two daughters; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three sisters; the mother of his children. He is also survived by special companion, Carolyn.

Memorial service were held Friday Nov 1, 2013 on the grounds of Mount Tabor Baptist. With Full Military Honors by Veterans of Foreign Wars, Thaddeus H. Caraway Post 2278, of Hot Springs. A private family burial followed at the Caldwell Cemetery.
