Funeral services for Donna Dunavin Abernathy were Tuesday, June 12, 2012 in the Oak Grove Bible Baptist Church in Hornbeck, Rev. John Northway officiated. Burial followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Abernathy 58, of Leesville passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2012 in Alexandria after a long illness. She was a native of Beaumont, TX, but grew up in Vernon Parish where she attended Hornbeck High School. She was a homemaker.
Preceding her In death were her parents; Alton Max Dunavin and Willie Mae Jett Dunavin Doyle, Sister; Judy Dunavin and brother; John H. Brown.
Survivors are her husband of 24 Years of Leesville, LA. Two Sons and Daughters-in-law; Two Daughters and One son-in-law; One Sister and Brother-in-law and a host of Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren.
