Marysville - Bernadette R. "Mike" Striker, 77, of Marysville, died Thursday, July 13, 1995.
She was born Dec. 28,1917 in St. Clair. She was married to Richard C. Striker on Dec. 19, 1938 in Indiana. He preceded her in death on Dec. 30, 1988.
She retired from the J. C. Penney Company where she had worked as a sales associate. She was a former Lioness and a member of St. Chistopher Catholic Church.
She is survived by a son, Richard C. (Fay) Striker, Maynard, Mass.; four daughters, Mr. and Mrs Jack (Kay) Murray, Mr. and Mrs Malcolm (Ray Ann) Smith, both of Marysville, Mary Smith, Fort Gratiot and Margaret "Micki" Hendrick, Marysville; grandchildren, David, Darin & Daryl Striker, Beth & Ken Mareski, John and Laurie Stoliker, Kurt and Wendy Stoliker, Eric Stoliker, Jack Murray Jr., Randy & Scot Smith, Dana Smith & Fiance Larry Stewart, Drew Smith and Brooke Hendrick; great granddaughter, Amber Mareski; a brother James (Arlene) Westrick; three sisters, Mrs. and Mrs.Richard (Geraldine) Schwartz, Genevieve Schwartz, and Matilda Fahs; brothers-in-law and his wife, Eugene and Connie Striker; several nieces and nephews; and many caring friends. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 A.M. Monday in St. Christopher Catholic Church, Marysville, the Rev. Thomas Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery. Visiting is 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. today in the L. C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home, St. Clair, and 10 to 11 A.M. Monday in the Church.
Memorials may be made to St. Christoper Catholic Church, Blue Water Hospice or Visiting Nurse's Associations will be Mrs. Striker's grandchildren.
