William Dresbach, of Tarlton, who has been a sufferer for many months from gravel in the bladder, died in his home in that village last Sunday. On Tuesday of last week, Dr. Hamilton, the well known surgeon of Columbus, performed an unsuccessful operation on Mr. Dresbach, failing to reach the obstruction. A post mortum examination has since revealed the fact that the obstruction had become so lodged in a false sack that had formed in the bladder.

Mr. William Dresbach was the son of George Dresbach, an old citizen of this county. He was born near Tarlton, in September 1817, making him 64 years of age at his death. In 1839, he was married to Miss Margaret Earnhart, a daughter of William Earnhart, and was the father of seven children of the marriage. Mrs. Dresbach died in 1863. Mr. Dresbach married a few years afterward a daughter of Mr. Jacob Wheitsel, Mrs. Louisa Ford, a widow, who survives him.

A large circle of relatives and friends are left to mourn the loss of a man who was a Christian in all that the word implies, and a friend who for his many kind and charitable acts, though gone from among them, can never be forgotten.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. G. W. Deaver, of Tarlton, assisted by Rev. J. Dixon, at the Dresbach church, last Tuesday.
