Della M. Clark
Age 74, of Millsboro, DE, formerly of Folcroft, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at the Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, DE.
She was born in Clarksville, Arkansas. She spent most of her life living in Littleton, CO prior to meeting her husband Robert and moving to PA.
She was a member of the A.M. VETS Post #2 Ladies Auxiliary. Della enjoyed gardening, crafts and spending time with her family.
Della was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Ethel (Burton) Blackard; and two brothers, Thurman and Herbert Blackard of Colorado.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Robert Albert Clark; three children, Glen D. Clark and his wife Kim of Aston, PA, Roxanne C. Kinsley and her husband Robert of Wilmington DE, Dale R. Clark of Norwood, PA; two sisters, Bernice Fisher of Denver, CO, Laquita Hines of Oceanside, CA; five grandchildren, Nicole, Patrick, Dalton, Alexis and Taylor Clark.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 15, at 1 pm at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Rd, Millsboro, DE. 19966, where friends may call after 12 noon. Interment will follow at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations in Della's memory to Boy Scout Troop 225, c/o Bob Strickler, 764 Iris Lane, Media, PA 19063.
