Peggy "Charlene" (Efnor) Lund Obituary

She married, 2nd husband) Robert (Bob) Milton Lund on September 1st, 1951. Bob and Charlene raised their three children Jenie, Patti and Dale in Bremeton. They became grandparents when Eric was born in 1973. Their granddaughter, Juli, was born in 1975, the twin grandsons David and Daniel were born in 1992.

Charlene's love of the Lord and love of music was seen in her faithfulness to the church choir, not only in singing, but organizing the music and mending the choir robes. No task for the Lord was to small for Charlene. Her favorite hobby was sewing and there was not a bride at Lincoln Avenue Bible Church that was not given an apron and quilt stiched by her. One cannot look back at a church event without seeing Charlene's camera flashing.

Thirteen years ago due to declining health the Lund's moved to Richland to live in a retirement home close to their daughter and family. Bob and Charlene continued to enjoy church, family and social activities together. They celebrated their 50th Anniversary on September 1, 2001. Bob went to be with the Lord on November 16, 2001.

A few years later Charlene moved to an adult family home just a few blocks from Patti and Frank and a new roll of great grandmother came for Jacob, Joel and Jessa. The Lord's promises through music continued to bring joy to Charlene. Even when she no longer spoke a word when she would hear a familiar hymn she would light up and sing along. Charlene went to be with her Lord and Savior January 21, 2006.
