I did not know that Iona had passed. Sorry to hear she is gone, I will miss her. The first year I went to KY to do the history of my Griffin family, I got to meet her and Pauline, we went to Pauline's house. They both filled me in on the history of the Griffins. I had so much fun! One time when I was at Iona's, she showed me a graduation picture of her class, and showed me where my Wheeldon cousins were, Anna and Margaret. They were so pretty. (e-mailed 21 June 2014)

Iona was as sweet in life as she appears in this beautiful picture. I made her memorial 5 years ago, and many kind people added flowers. At that time Cadmus suggested I remove it because it might be hurtful to family members. Instead, I added a message that she was among the living, updated it when she had birthdays, and removed it today. Just an explanation about the earlier flowers.... Darla
