I took this photo on the right in the dark one night with my cell phone. Tig always laid on my right shoulder and pushed my cheek in so far I could barely move my head. He always pushed my glasses crooked on my face, too. Then he would put his paws around my neck and hold me tight with both paws.

Nobody could imagine my description of this to them, so I took this picture and sent it on my phone to my kids. I am so glad I have this picture, even if it is pretty bad.

(Thanks to Joyce for fixing this photo for me.)

Having a tough time with my boy leaving me, so right now, I will just say that my boy suffered a stroke in the night on September 6/7. I knew immediately something was wrong when he woke me up. He had been sleeping on my right shoulder, as he always did. I took him to the vet, and we tried everything we could. He got better for about a week, and I got my hopes up. Then he started slipping, until he died here at his home with his loved ones around him.

His last movement was to reach out for me with his paw and look at me straight in my eyes.
He loved me and protected me. I loved him too.
I miss him every day.
