Samantha "Sam" Canady was born December 17, 2002 in Odessa, Texas to the proud parents, Brian and Tammy Canady. She departed this life on Wednesday, February 2, 2011. She was eight years old.
Samantha "Sam" Canady was raised in Odessa, Texas and went to school at Midland Classical Academy (MCA). She was in second grade. She loved her school, the teachers, staff and her friends. She was a member of the NHRA Jr.
Drag Racing League. She was so excited to turn eight years old, so that she could drive her Jr. Dragster and have her very own Drag Racing License. She
not only loved to drive her car, but she worked on it too. She could tell you the names of every part of the car and her engine. She has been at the races since she was born and was loved throughout the racing community. Sam loved life.
She was so full of love and energy. Sam loved her Ipod touch, riding her bike, having sleepovers, jumping on her pogo stick, going fishing, tubing at the lake,
working out at the gym with her mom, and she sure loved shopping. She was deeply loved by many and will be missed greatly. In lieu of flowers , the family
request that donations be made at Security Bank in Samantha's name, therefore, allowing her parents to make one large donation to Children's Medical Research.
