In may 2004 we got a call from our daughter that someone had some "tiny" chihuahuas that were homeless.. We had just lost one of our pets and couldnt resist...
We had 3 chihuahuas, Squeeky a "teacup", Piggy Sue, a minature, and Chloe a standard size, when we moved to Odessa Texas...we Lost Squeeky Sept 30, 2000 and had just lost Chloe.... We still had Piggy Sue plus some other dogs we rescued, all much larger..The lady was at work so we had to wait til the next day to see them,
While we waited I took the names of our 3 Muskateers, Squeeky, PiggySue and Chloe and wrote their names down and used the letters to come up with 'Pickles"
The next day we went to view the "tiny" pups..
Mercy !! We saw this pup that had to have legs a foot Long. scraggly and hungry actually leaning against the house like the horse Lee Marvin had in "CAT BALLEW"
He was so frightened and he needed us so off we went back home with our baby Pickles... He was "my PERSONAL PET" and he was a mamas boy..all the way! He slept with us under the covers at the foot. Whenever I showered He was always by the door waiting on me. He got his nick name because if you got onto him he would move like Tim Conway on the Carol Burnett Show so we called him "SlowMo" a lot...He was so loving and he would hug you on command..
He went missing this afternoon and Husband found him laying in the yard...We will always Love and Miss Him!!
