Beloved wife of Terry Wayne Blair. She died of a heart attack from genetic problems at too young an age. Terry and Karen had known each other for many years before they started to date in the early 1980's. She and Terry lived on neighboring farms and had attended the same high school, Cascade Union High School in Oregon, although she was three years younger than he and graduated in 1972. But age seems to matter less as time goes on, and when he saw her again after quite some time it was like he was seeing her for the very first time. Their love was genuine and they married on Dec 15, 1979, in Marion, Oregon. He told me a number of times that his years with Karen were the happiest of his life. However she had a genetic heart problem often referred to as a "Triple A" which involves the main aorta in the heart. Her father had died from it at too early an age and, tragically, it would take Karen's life as well. When her aorta burst, there was nothing that could be done. Karen died within minutes on Jan 14, 2001, when they were living in Roy, Washington. She was buried near her father who had apparently died from the same genetic disorder. She had one brother, Jeff Kremer. Terry was almost beside himself with grief and never recovered from her loss although he tried to marry again, once more, but divorced. He never got over the loss of his late wife and took his own life on his birthday eleven years after her death. May they both Rest in Peace, together again forever.
