Vera was born in Stark, Neosho, Kansas and died in Bayou La Batre (Coden according to several sources so using it until can verify which is accurate), Mobile, Alabama. She lived in Gulfport, Harrison County, Mississippi as well as Moss Point and Pascagoula, Jackson County, Mississippi before moving to Bayou La Batre, Mobile County, Alabama. She also lived in Coden, Mobile County, Alabama.

Parents were Charles D. Kring (25789113) and Minnie (Smart) Kring (25789996); spouse was Will(iam) Frank Prinz - married Wednesday, October 26, 1932 in the Lutheran Church in Gulfport, Harrison County, Mississippi by the Reverend Earl P. Knobloch (d. before 1953, probably Gulfport, Harrison, MS; buried in an unknown cemetery in New Orleans, Louisiana; funeral home records destroyed by Hurricane Katrina).

Siblings and half-siblings include: Owen D. Kring; Eleanor K. Kring Johnson; Helen Grace Jordan Forbes - daughter of Cora, but not Charles so she may not show up as a half-sibling; Cyril Kring - died 2008, but burial arrangements unavailable; and Iva Ruth Kring Smith Hartman.

Owen wasn't mentioned in Vera's memoirs and she either didn't know about him or had forgotten as he died before she was born.

Other family members buried in Odd Fellows Cemetery are her nephew, Oliver Dayton Vesper, his wife, Hazel Kearley Vesper, and their son, Oscar Julius Vesper. All of them are buried in the Vesper Family plot.
