I need to find the right home for Ruger, Neutered, 7 yrs. old, Very FRIENDLY, and Healthy. He acts like a pup and loves to play ball, and go for drives. Hips are great. I acquired him back from my ex, due to health issues. Ruger is perfect, gets along w/ cats, dogs, birds, people, you name it. UTD [up to date] on shots. He's needs to be pampered as he is a ex show dog, he's been spoiled. I will inspect your home, and charge a small rehoming fee to assure no low lifes get him. My house is too small for him. Great guard dog, no one will be coming in your house w/o you knowing it, or over your fence. Laura XXX-XXX-XXXX.

Cause of death: Cancer.
A ultrasound determined three soft ball size tumors, one in his left lung and two on his spleen. Ruger lived a full life for almost two years after he was diagnosed (shy of three weeks). His Vet. said he had four to six week to live and to take him home and let him be a dog. They were all surprised he lived as long as he did (almost two years) after he was diagnosed. Ruger was a true champion, enjoyed life and was without pain until his final night.
