Diagnosed with T-1 diabetes as a child. Went to bed the night of June 1st and didn't wake up the next morning. It is thought she died from a hypoglycemic episode. Liz leaves her beloved husband of 22 years, her much loved 15 and 13 year old daughters, her parents, 2 sisters and a brother, other family members, and many, many friends.

Liz earned her BS in English from Tufts University and a Master's degree in English at Stanford University. Her career as a technical writer included Peoplesoft, where she was promoted to manager of publications, and high-tech start-ups in the Silicon Valley and San Francisco. Her great passions were a love of music, which ranged from Wagner and John Adams to the Grateful Dead to the classic jazz of Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. She loved to cook and was a long time member and contributor to Chowhound.

Liz was an administrator of the on-line non-profit peer support group Insulin Pumpers (IP), for people using insulin pumps to help control their diabetes. She was kind, caring, and helpful to all the members. We are grateful for her presence and support.

She is greatly missed.
