Mr. Willie Sanders passed from this life, Monday, April 28,2014, at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN.

The son of the late Grady Eugene and Elsie Marie O'Brien Sanders, he was a native of Hornsby, TN and was raised in this area. On November 26, 1980, he was united in marriage to the former Peggy Baker, who survives.

Mr. Sanders lived in Missouri for over 30 years, spending most of that time in the Bonne Terre, MO area. He was employed by Chrysler Corporation in Fenton, MO for 31 years. He was a member of New Beginnings Church and enjoyed golf, St. Louis Cardinals baseball and spending time with family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Bernie Hertweck of Wentzville, MO, Jeff and Greg Hertweck of Hornsby, TN; two sisters, his twin, Nancy Foster of Selmer, TN and Vicie McMahan of Bethel Springs, TN; three brothers, Buddy, Ed and Doug Sanders, all of Henning, TN; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Sanders was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Carolyn Crouse and Jean Hartsfield.

Visitation for Mr. Sanders will be Thursday evening, May 1, 2014, from 4:00 - 9:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Bolivar. A second visitation will be Friday evening, May 2, 2014, from 4:00 - 9:00 pm at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home, 1116 N. Desloge Dr., Desloge, MO 63601. Telelphone: 573-431-2686. Funeral Services will be in their chapel on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 10:00 am. Burial will be in the St. Francois Memorial Park Cemetery in Bonne Terre, MO.

Memorials are requested to go to the American Cancer Society.
