John Franklin Crawford,73, of Shenanoah, Va, He was a former native of California, MO., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 3, 2006 at Whispering Pines in Luray, Va. On April 9, 1954 he married the former Shirley Mae Dawson of Mayo, MD who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters. He was the youngest of 4 children of the late Dorsey Edwin Crawford & Mamie Ruth Pruitt-Bulingame Crawford of California, Missouri. Dad was in the US Navy., Also dad was an electrian/armature winder and loved fishing. He was a good husband and father. Dad will be deeply missed.
