KOSCHO, Elizabeth T. Quick M.D. "Beth" of St. Petersburg, was received into the Lord's hands Oct. 15, 2009. Born in Louisville, KY on April 6, 1971, and grew up in Mars Hill, NC. She was a graduate of Mars Hill College and East Carolina University School of Medicine and completed her Family Practice residency program at Bayfront Medical Center. She was a physician at Johnnie Ruth Clark Community Health Center. She is survived by her husband, Christopher, and sons, Andrew and Aidan; her father Frank W. Quick Jr., PhD and wife Betty; mother Janet B. Quick; aunts JoEllen Johnston and Margaret Ferencz; her in-laws including father and mother Raymond A. Koscho and wife Patricia; brother in laws, Raymond, Kenneth, and Stephen, and sister in-law Mary, with many other family and friends. She was a member of St. Therese Byzantine Catholic Church. Her boys are what she lived for and her family meant the world to her. Her devotion and love were unconditional and never ending for her family, friends, colleagues, and patients. Her life was filled with challenges and instead of focusing on her own tribulations, she smiled, treated, and cared for everyone, whenever and wherever she could and even when she couldn't. Her glowing smile was contagious and strong. Her good works will forever be remembered and shine through everyone she touched. She was beautiful, determined, driven, and stubborn (at times), which was shown through her education, work, and life but her undeniable patience and love was expressed every second of everyday. Her strength is second to none and will remain unparalleled into eternity. Her extended family from Bayfront Medical Center and Johnnie Ruth Clark Center will be remembered always. As she cared for all of us through God's Hands on Earth, she will continue to care for us through the eyes of heaven. Honey, we will never forget your glowing smile, humor, wit, and devotional love. You will be loved forever by us and those who were fortunate enough to have met you. Viewing, Sunday, Oct. 18, 6-8 pm with prayer service 7:30 pm at Brett Funeral Home, 4810, Central Ave., St. Petersburg. Funeral service, Monday, Oct. 19, 10 am, St. Therese Byzantine Catholic Church, 4265 13th Ave. N., St. Petersburg, with burial at Calvary Cemetery following services. Donations may be made in memory of Dr. Beth Koscho to Community Health Center of Pinellas.
