Lorene was born in Georgia and lived there all her life. Her Father was David Cephas Napier and Mother was Rosa Lee Royals Napier. She had two sisters Carolyn June and Nancy Helen.
Lorene married Bascom Rouse Parham on 5 April 1953. They had two children, a daughter and a son, two grandsons and a granddaughter. She helped care for sick family members for years , her mother-on-law, her Aunt Frances and her Father.
She worked at McCroy's in downtown Valdosta for many years. After the closing of McCroy's she worked at Woolworth's in Brookwood Plaza , Valdosta Ga.
She was a member of the North Valdosta church of Christ for many years and attended services faithfully until her health no longer permitted. She was a gentle, quiet lady and loved by all who knew her. She had diabetes and suffered from diabetic neuropathy for many years.
She was buried at Riverview Memorial Gardens by her loved husband Bascom In 2016 her loved Grandson TJ Parham was buried there also.
