Corine Schauder, 85, formerly of 51 W. Perry St., died at 8:45 a.m. today, Jan. 8, 1985, at St. Francis Home, where she had lived for the last three years.
She was born in Tiffin on Dec. 2, 1899, to Thomas and Rose (Kern) O'Connell. She married Carl Schauder in St. Mary's Church here on June 14, 1923, and he died Aug. 9, 1968.
Surviving are two children, C. Thomas Schauder of Toledo and Mrs. Peter J (Geraldine) Culichia of Columbus; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A son, C. Richard Schauder, is deceased.
Mrs. Schauder was a member of St. Mary's Church and of the Emblem Club.
The mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Church and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the hoffmann Memorial Funeral Home, where a wake service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
