Funeral services for Louis Schauder, 73, of Tiffin, father of Charles Schauder, assistant manager of A & P food store on Bidwell avenue, were held in Tiffin St. Mary's church Wednesday morning.
Mr. Schauder died Sunday in Tiffin Mercy hospital. He was a former employe of Basic Refractories Inc. He married Bess Fisher in 1923 and she died in 1958.
Other survivors are a son, Edward, Clyde; daughters, Mrs. John Patterson, North Syracuse, N. Y.; Mrs. Floyd Roof, Ottawa, and Mrs. Dallas McKean, Tiffin; 15 grandchildren, a brother, Cletus, and a sister, Mrs. Hal Smith, both Fostoria.
Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery, Tiffin.
