Brenen Lee Adams, age 9, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at his home.
Brenen was born April 21, 2004 in Portsmouth, Virginia, the son of Sean D. and Trisha M. Bentley Adams. He attended River Hills School in Cedar Falls.
Survivors include his mother, Trisha Adams and her special friend Jeff Ferguson of Waterloo; his father, Sean Adams of Jacksonville, Florida; 7 brothers, Devontay, Aeneas, Treyvon, Jaylen, Dain, Evan and Quinten; 2 sisters, Alexis and Riley; a niece, Maddison; his grandparents, Bart and Norma Hulbert of Denver, IA, Mark Bentley of Waterloo and Stella Mitchell of Columbia, TN.; a great grandmother, Barb Davis of Waterloo.
Brenen was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bertha Cosby Adams, Percy L. Adams, Jr. and Bessie Cosby.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 6, 2013 at the Salvation Army Citadel, 207 Logan Avenue in Waterloo with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel and an hour prior to the services on Thursday at the Citadel.
