My Grandfather Loyal was the son of Hugh James McCummins and Olena Duffy McCummins. He married Eva Harclerode on April 29, 1922 in Uniontown, Pa. They moved to Donora, Pa for awhile after their marriage. Their first child, Loyal Edward McCummins Jr. was born there in 1923. The family later moved to Leavittsburg, Ohio. Loyal worked for Republic Steel Corp. in Warren, Ohio. Eva and Loyal had 6 children. When Loyal died in 1977, he had 11 grandchildren and 8 great-granchildren. Eva had died in 1969.
