ANOTHER OLD CITIZEN GONE TO HIS REST. -- William Mapps, Sr., who had resided in this township for the last 25 years, died at his residence on last Tuesday morning, after a brief illness. He was one of our most respected and esteemed citizens. He lived beyond his generation, being in his eighty second year at the time of his death. Thus he lived a dozen years beyond the period allotted to man. His children and grand children reside amongst us and are good citizens and highly respected for honesty, integrity and intelligence. The old man, in his latter days, had the consolation of seeing his sons and daughters well provided with the goods of this world. A vast concourse of people followed his remains to their last resting place.
