Thelma was the daughter of William and Nellie (Phillips) Richards & the granddaughter of Edna Sheldon & James Welford "Will" Phillips. She married Ralph Sundheimer (1912-1943) in April 1937. She later married Henry Troyer (1916-1982) in June 1947. Thelma graduated from Killbuck High School. In 1943, she began studying to become a nurse. She graduated from Aultman School of Nursing in Canton and began her nursing career, serving as Holmes County Health Nurse, later working for Joel Pomerene Hospital in OB, and retiring as night supervisor for Castle Nursing Homes. She is survived by two sisters, Edith Hamsher of Dover and Ruth Fuller of South Haven, Miss.; a half-sister, Phylis Giauque of Killbuck, O.; a half-brother, Ernest Richards of Mount Vernon, O.; many nieces and nephews; and special friend and caregiver, Carol Fair of Millersburg, O. She was preceded in death by two children, Gary Wade Sundheimer and Sandra Lee Sundheimer; sister, Viola Fross; and half-brother, Elmo Richards.
