JEFFERSON - Funeral services for Eva Mildren DonCarlos, 87, of Jefferson will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007, at New Prospect Baptist Church near Jefferson with the Rev. Charles Russell officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery under the direction of Haggard-Heaster Funeral Home. Mrs. DonCarlos died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007, in Longview. She was born Oct. 9, 1919, in Jefferson to Ruby Catherine Grubbs Maxwell and Walter Crayton Maxwell. Mrs. DonCarlos was a homemaker and a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. Survivors include her children, Dodie Bourdon of Longview, Linda Arkins of Houston, Martha Barrow of Sugarland, and Steve DonCarlos of Baytown; sisters, Quida Allen of Jefferson and Mozell Woodall of Sabine; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Lynn Bourdon III, David Bourdon, Mark Bourdon, Chad Ezell, James Atkins, Nathan Barrow, Matt DonCarlos, and Greg DonCarlos. Haggard-Heaster Funeral Home
