Clarence McDaniel, 75, of Flora and formerly of Clay City, died at 8:15 p.m. Saturday at Clay County Hospital.
Born March 27, 1899 at Clay City, Mr. McDaniel is survived by his wife, the former Mary Edna Braden, whom he married June 8, 1933 at Clay City.
He was a member of the Clay County Church of God.
Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Mary Foreman, Sailor Springs; five sisters, Mrs. Lena Kulig, Noble, Mrs. John Apple, Thousand Oaks, Cal., Mrs. Ella Stutz, Belleville, Mrs. Louie Schobert, Marissa, and Mrs. Charles Menka, Bridgeton, Mo.; and one grandchild.
Services will be at the Cardascio-Easley Funeral Home, Clay City. Burial will be at Clay City Cemetery.
