Cloyd Moseley, 95, Passes Last Night

Cloyd B. Moseley, age 95, one the county's oldest and finest citizens passed away late last night at the Burgin Nursing Home where he has made his home for the past 3 years. His residence was at 328 N. Mill Street.

Mr. Moseley was a native of Clay Co. and lived in and near Clay City for many years. He has resided in Olney for the past several years.

He was preceded in death by a twin brother, Lloyd Moseley, 4 years ago. He was a long and faithful member of the Methodist Church.

Mr. Moseley's survivors are his wife Flora; four children, John Moseley of Noble, Berlin Moseley of Olney, Mrs. Irene Evans and Mrs. Ellen Brissenden both of Clay City.

There are 17 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Clay City Methodist Church with Rev. J. N. Presley and Rev. Joseph White officiating. Interment will be in the Clay City cemetery.

The body will be taken from the Summers-Wilson Funeral Home to the family residence at 328 N. Mill on Thursday evening at 4:00 o'clock to remain until the hour of service.
