Leo Murbarger died at the Clay County Hospital in Flora.

Mr. Murbarger was born Sept. 11, 1908, in Clay County, the son of David and Bertha (Patridge) Murbarger. He married Vida Rosenburg Feb. 16, 1938, in Clay City.

He was a retired school custodian from the Clay City Grade School. Previously he and Vida had managed the Flora Golf Course.

He was a member of the Clay City Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Vida; four daughters, Shirley Ausbrook, Marilyn Helburn, Phyllis Koss, Carolyn Sunday; five brothers, Rolla Murbarger, Shelby Murbarger, Carroll Murbarger, Eath Murbarger, and Neal Murbarger; two sisters, Cecil Staser and Maxine Tibbs; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.

Services were held at Hosselton-Bookhout-Engelmeier Funeral Home in Clay City with Rev. Norman Sloan presiding.

Burial was in Clay City Cemetery.
