Mrs. Peters was born in Dix, IL, the daughter of Elmer E. and Mary Ethel Hutchison Easley. She married Alfred H. Peters in 1921 and he preceded her in death in 1984.
She was a retired cashier with Holland Truck Stop in Flora, a member of Clay City Christian church, 50 year member of Eastern Star, Rebekah Lodge for over 50 years, and a charter member of American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include a daughter, Noreen Peters; a granddaughter; and a grandson, several nices and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, two sons, three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were hled at Clay City Christian church with burial in the Clay City Cemetery. Summers-Kistler funeral Home was in charge.
