Mrs. Roosevelt was born February 7, 1933, in Edwards County, the daughter of Willard and Amy Hoover Shaw. She married Joe A. Roosevelt July 22, 1950 in West Salem. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband; mother, Amy Tait; a son, Randy Roosevelt; a brother, Larry Shaw; a sister, Marylin Taylor; a grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her father.
Funeral services were held at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with burial in Clay City Cemetery.
