Miss Caroline Ackinson was born in Ohio, she died at the home of her son-in-law W. G. Ausbrook in Watertown.

Caroline married Dreuery Rose of Bible Grove Twp.
in July, 1857.

Thirteen children were born Mary J. wife of Henry Crum; Albert M. of Clay City, and Rosa Stang, Stephen Ophelia Lyons, Addie Ausbrook, Lovina Cox, and Althea Peterson.

Thomas lost his life in the Philippine Islands during the Spanish American War.

Mrs. Rose was also survived by one sister Mrs. George Colborn of Bible Grove Twp. a half brother Crawford F. Ackinson, Vina Ellen Blair, wife of David Blair a step-sister and step-brother Wm Lewis all of Blair Twp.

Druery was the son of Thomas (Crenshaw) & Lorna/Lavina Steward Rose, he had two sisters: Jane Rose, Rebecca Rose, & three brothers: Thomas Rose, John W. Rose, & William Rose.
