He was retired from Peabody Golion as a welder & truck driver, was of the United Methodist faith, and made a professional of faith as a young man at the Patterson United Methodist Church. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and liked ball games and riding his scooter.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Duane & Brett; a daughter, Lorri; grandsons, Aaron, Patrick, & Jeremy. He was preceded in death by his parents and a half-sister, Harriet Harbison.
Funeral services were officiated by Rev. Mark Canada. Burial was in the Clay City Cemetery.
