Miss LINDA SUSAN JOHNSON was the daughter of Wallace Johnson and Mrs. Lillie (Todd) Johnson.

Obituary
"Funeral services for Miss Linda S. Johnson, 28, of Route 3, Jefferson, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Lewis & Walker Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Henry Beckham officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Miss Johnson died Sunday, in Dallas, after a sudden illness. A native of Jefferson, she was born March 18, 1950. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Johnson. She was a graduate of Central High School in Jefferson and Texas Womens University of Denton. She was a line operator and a member of Mount Ira Baptist Church. She was also a member of Golden Rule Court No. 171 of the Grand Order of Calanthe. The body will lie in state from noon Friday until 1 p.m. Saturday.

Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Johnson, of Jefferson; one son, Nicholas Dwayne Johnson, of Jefferson; four brothers, Wallace Johnson Jr. and Willard C. Johnson, both of Jefferson, Thomas R. Johnson, of Germany, and William E. Johnson, of Baytown; six sisters, Mrs. Ella Mae Johnson, of Las Vegas, Nevada, Mrs. Vera Johnson, of Baytown, Janet Elaine Johnson, of Houston, Cynthia Louise Johnson, Olivia Denese Johnson and Andrea Eunyce Johnson, all of Jefferson; her grandfather, George Todd, of Baytown; one uncle, George Todd II, of San Jose, California; one aunt, Mrs. Minnie Freeman, of Jefferson; five nieces; seven nephews; and a number of other relatives."
