Hilda Modena Travis, 78, Clay City, died at 12:20 a.m. today in the Flora Nursing Center.
Services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Cardascio Funeral Home in Clay City with Bro. Mike Sweeney presiding. Visitation is Tuesday from 5-9 p.m. Burial will be in the Clay City Cemetery.
Mrs. Travis was born Oct. 28, 1901 in Clay City to James Allen and Sarah Melvenia (Patridge) Evans. She married Ross Travis on March 20, 1920. He survives.
She was a member of the Clay City Christian Church.
Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Wagner and Janet Hagen, both of Moore, Okla., Mrs. June Evans, Olney; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter; a son; and three sisters.
