JEFFERSON, TX - Thursday, November 7th, during lunch, God invited me to join Him at his banquet table.
Oh what a feast we had, as I dined with my husband Billie Joe Jones, my parents George and Ruby Grubbs, and my brother Lloyd (Buck) Grubbs, all formerly of Jefferson, Texas.
Those joining us for a later celebration include my daughters Cindy Jones, Gina Perkins and her husband Dan, son Scott Jones and his wife Tanya, sister Jane Brown, and brother George Grubbs.
Tell my grandchildren Jonathan Perkins and his boys, Kristina Morgan and her girls, and my sweet Scottie Jones, that Jesus has some very exciting plans for their lives.
Everyone is invited to a couple of special events in my honor.
Visitation is Saturday from 4 until 6 p.m. at Haggard Funeral Home in Jefferson, Texas, and on Sunday afternoon we will enjoy some great music and fellowship at two o'clock in their chapel. My earthly vessel will be laid to rest at Prospect Cemetery.
Let the ladies in my Sunday School class at Summer Grove know how much joy they brought into my life.
Give my caregiver, Dr. Richard Hanie, a big hug for me.
After waiting 80 years, I'm finally home.
