Charles E. Walls was born July 28, 1927 in Mt. Vernon, Indiana. He passed away on January 1, 2015 after an illness. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:30pm on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Core Cemetery in Grey, TX, officiating Rev. Fred C. Moseley. There will be a time of visitation before the service from 1-2pm at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home in Vivian, Louisiana.

Charles was a longtime resident of Mooringsport, LA and Grey, TX. He was a WWII US Army veteran, a member of the Military Police US Constabulary Association, the American Legion and the Masonic Lodge. He loved to fish and hunt and he raised gardens for his family and friends for free.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children Opal Walls. He is survived by his wife Beatrice M. Walls, his 4 children, 9 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Buddy Kelly, Jon Lopez, Raymond Stevens and Scott Stuhlmann. Bob Stuhlmann and Delton Springer will serve as honorary pallbearers.
