OBITUARY: Holmes County Farmer, Holmes County, OH, Thursday, 25 February 1915

Charles E. Larimer

Was born in Millersburg, February 3, 1879, and died here on Saturday evening, Feb. 20, aged 36 years and 17 days. He had been in declining health for months, and gradually grew weaker until the final summons came. On April 23, 1905, he was united in marriage to Malinda Engel, who survives him. He had always resided in Millersburg, and had been engaged in various business enterprises, but for the past two years had been deputy sealer of weights and measures for Holmes county. He was a son of the late John P. Larimer and the last member of the Larimer family in this community. Deceased was a member of the Presbyterian church. He was also a member of May Lodge No. 350, Knights of Pythias of Millersburg. Deceased had many good traits of character and had many friends who will miss him. The funeral occurred on Wednesday, at 2 o'clock p.m., services being conducted by his cousin, Rev. John P. Allison, of Waynesburg, Pa. Interment in Oak Hill cemetery.
