Major League Baseball Player. From 1917 to 1921, he played for the New York Giants, Chicago Cubs and Brooklyn Robins. He had a career batting average of .270 with 159 RBI and 163 runs scored. The utility infielder is a part of baseball lore, as he was one of the three baserunners erased by Bill Wambsganss’s unassisted triple play during a 1920 World Series game against Cleveland.
