Mrs. Lenora Mitten, 82, died at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. E. Marty, in Mechanics township, Holmes county, from complications.
Mrs. Mitten spent her entire life in Holmes county, residing in Millersburg until four years ago. She was a daughter of the late Samuel and Susan Leopold, and widow of Joseph Mitten, who died about five years ago. Mrs. Mitten was a member of the Millersburg Trinity United Lutheran church.
Besides the daughter, Mrs. Marty, she is survived by two sons, Edward and William of Millersburg, one sister, Mrs. H. E. Mast of Millersburg, and a brother, C. C. Leopold of Mishawaka, Indiana. Sixteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Millersburg Trinity United Lutheran church with the Rev. Ralph W. Lowe in charge. Interment will be in the Millersburg cemetery.
