Second wife of Judge Robert B. Putnam

She was born to Burkhard S. and Agnes (Sheehey) Killian. A 1922 graduate of Millersburg High School, she lived most of her life in the Millersburg area. She worked for many years as a Court Stenographer in Holmes County, after experience in the law offices of Schuler and Putnam. She married Judge Robert B. Putnam in 1943. He preceded her in death in 1960. In 1994 she moved to St. Edward's retirement complex in Fairlawn. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Millersburg and numerous organizations, including the American Legion Auxiliary, the Library Board where she served as Clerk-Treasurer, Business and Professional Women, Triroses, Theta Sigma, Briar Hill Country Club, and many service organizations and bridge clubs.

She is survived by two step-daughters, Grace Schantz and Barbara (Donald) Rush; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband; she was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Florence Gless; two brothers, Gerald and Jack Killian and a nephew, Joseph Killian.
