He is survived by three sons, Ronald (Ann) Brown, Kevin (Lisa) Brown and Mark (Tina) Brown, one daughter, Diana (Tim) Van Hyning, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one sister, Delores Sullivan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Clarence and Harold Brown.
He served in the U.S. Army in Company C, 309th Infantry, 78th Division of the U.S. Army. He was in the worst of the battles, including the Battle of the Bulge.
